Vacancy: Programme Manager
We are recruiting for an enthusiastic, highly organised and experienced Manager to help take our successful evening music school into its next chapter. The Pre-Conservatoire is in its thirteenth year and meets every term time Wednesday at St Monica Trust, BS9 3UN.
Directed by Dr Jonathan James, it is a creative community that offers gifted young classical and jazz musicians, aged 12-19 from across the region, a unique opportunity to work together on their general musicianship and ensemble skills, preparing them for their next steps.
The programme manager’s key responsibilities are:
- Parent, student and tutor communication
- Co-ordination of all rehearsal and concert logistics
- Financial management
- Managing university intern
- Marketing, fundraising and planning for growth in partnership with the Artistic Director
- DBS check required
The role starts next term Weds 8th Jan 2025. The handover period (paid) will be the latter part of this term, ideally Weds 27th Nov, Weds 4th December 2024 and concert Sun 8th December. Other times outside Pre-Conservatoire hours could be arranged if necessary. Regular work hours will be 4pm – 10pm on term time Wednesday evenings, plus occasional additional meetings as required.
The rate of pay is £21 per hour.
